Items needed:
Portable aluminum inexpensive chafing dishes and sterno. With the cold weather hot entrees will probably be more appealing. ( These can be found at Big Lots, near the paper plates in supermarkets, or at Resco Restaurant supply on Virginia St.)
Heavy duty plastic forks.
Diet drinks non-carbonated... Snapple

2004 Cookie Exchange & Christmas Party
Just because we had gastric bypasses or are going to have a gastric bypass doesn't mean our family and friends have to miss out on our great Holiday baking. And yes ladies and gentlemen, most if not all of us, are superiour bakers of sweets, candies, and cookies (and not just for the Holidays). This event will hopefully keep us from spending the day in the kitchen making a whole bunch of sugary cookie recipes that we can't eat.
On Saturday December 20th from 1 to 4pm we will be having the Gastric Bypass Clothing Exchange Christmas Party.
The theme will be a cookie and candy exchange.
Please bring an appetizer or salad - sugar free or low sugar to share.
Please bring your best or favorite cookies or candies to exchange with others. ( should be 6 to 12 dozen pieces approx.)
Please bring the recipe of the cookie or candy you brought.
Recipe cards and containers to take your new cookies home to your families will be supplied.
